HeeWon LEE
– La neige (the snow)
Salle Gilbert Gaillard

A daily monologue that perpetuates the bond with a loved one who disappeared, whose presence is still close to the spirit and soul, preciously despite the time that went by. I wish to share with the visitors a moment of poetry, to communicate this feeling which characterizes the human being.

A tribute to Betty, my father, man soo.

Born in Kyung Ki-Do, South Korea, HeeWon Lee lives and works in Paris. After studying fashion design, she left Seoul and moved to France in 2002. She studied French at the university and joined the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Nancy before completing a post-graduate degree at the Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains (Tourcoing). HeeWon Lee works on a multidisciplinary artistic practice by associating video, plastic arts, graphic design and sound creation.

Her projects have won several awards and are regularly shown in France and abroad (Brazil, Canada, South Korea, Morocco, Spain, Italy…).
