Il canto dei suicidi is an immersive project freely inspired by the Canto XIII of Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. The original story informs us that the souls of suicides are plunged into Hell, reincarnated as trees with sinuous branches. Condemned to this eternal fixity, these half-human half-vegetal entities sustain the appetite of the harpies who devour their branches.

Lotus Eaters is a journey through an immersive and interactive virtual environment that tries to develop an imaginary centered on a form of post-futuristic animism.

Gate22’s “Introspexion” exhibition aims to offer a new vision of reality and of the world around us.
Through these three experiences, you will be invited to an introspection to find personal answers to these questions. The exhibition will transport you through different digital universes on this human and philosophical journey in order to discover the world through from another point of view.

I will sleep when I’m dead is a dive into the brain, a navigation by sight amongst neurons and synapses. The visitor gets lost in an infinite maze and crosses paths with «thoughts» materialized by drawings looking like pictograms. An intimate head to head, closely psychoanalytical, that introduces to an intense and a unique experience.
