MES.PARENTS.3020 / Aleksey Vafine, Dora Mousel / 2020 / FRA / 4’58
A tribute to my parents whom I love without knowing them. Nazi hunters, spies, pseudo-stars. I don’t really know anymore. By any chance, have you ever seen them?
Archival images and reconstitution.

TANTE.JEANNE.3020 / Aleksey Vafine, Dora Mousel / 2020 / FRA / 3’51
A tribute to my aunt Jeanne, my mother’s twin sister. It’s been 15 years since she had touched the keyboard. Some things don’t come back. Archival images and reconstitution.

Qui est le connard qui coupe les ailes des oiseaux ? / Elisa Becker / 2020 / FRA / 3’56
Through this video, I help the viewer to think about his own notion of freedom. What restricts it? How to express it?
Here I illustrate a down-to-earth story with metaphorical images embodying freedom or its opposite, filmed in a spontaneous and almost naive way. Allowing unconventional images such as these is already a form of freedom.

ANAMONI / Emma ROCHEFEUILLE / 2020 / FRA / 2’38
Realized during the lockdown, “Anamoni” is a testimony of the time that stretches out and the solitude that is attributed to it. The feeling of going around in circles, of losing patience, of losing one’s footing.
“Anamoni” is about waiting, about time passing and (o)pressing us.

[Game Over] / Luca Reverdit / 2019 / FRA / 2’03
This short film is a documentary-fiction. It was made from a true story highlighted with signs taken from video games from the 80s to 90s. This experimental film deals with hope through the concept of death, as it is approached in video games.
